まず一言、私は元気です！
数日間ブログを更新せず、ご心配をおかけしてすみません、、、
今回は、NYのコロナ事情と私の身の回りの話をさせてください。
１週間ほど前からNYでもコロナの感染者が急増しています。
4日前の水曜から学校の授業はオンライン方式に切り替わり、1日のほとんどを家で過ごすようになりました。
まさかこのようなことになるとは思わず、「いつも外出してばかりで、家には寝に帰るだけだ」と考えていたため、とても安くて快適とは言えないシェアハウスに住んでいます。
それが仇となり、気分的にも塞ぎがちになってしまっていました、、、
周りの日本人の知り合いの中には今回の騒動を受けて帰国する人なども現れ始め、正しい情報収拾をしたり、漠然と騒動について考えたり、自宅にいながら英語力を向上させるにはどうしたらいいだろうか等と考えていたら、あっという間に数日が経っていました。
そして、あと数時間後（2020年3月22日の午後8:00から）には、外出禁止令が発令されます。
特定の職業の方以外は、食品の買い物や通院などを除いて禁止されるそうです。
NYも日本も、今後どうなるのか、誰にもわかりません。
もう、ここまで来ると私には意地のようなものが芽生えていて、なるべくNYに滞在して、緊急だからこそ学べることも学び取りたいと考えています。
また、このブログでは、これまでギフトにまつわるトピックを更新してきました。
私はいつでもギフトが好きなので、それを変えるつもりはありません。
不謹慎だと不快に思われる方もいらっしゃると思いますが、私は家で得られる情報や今私自身が持っている知識を少しずつでも更新していきたいと考えています。
まずは健康第一ということで、体調管理やウイルスの予防に努めながら今後もNYで頑張っていきたいと思います。

A few hours later (from 8:00 pm on March 22, 2020), going out will be banned
It is said that people other than specific occupations are prohibited except for shopping for food and going to hospital.
No one knows what will happen in NY and Japan and somewhere.
At this point, I'm beginning to feel like I'm doing something
so I want to stay in NY as much as possible and learn what I can learn only because of an emergency.
